Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving this year with our friends the Owens and the Redders. We met when we first moved to the area and all the husbands worked together. We are all in different wards now but they are like family so it's great to get together for the holidays. We set up an area for all the kids to eat together.

 The guys were busy in the kitchen!! A good sight :)

We finished our table literally the night before everyone came over. It was great to have lots of space for just us adults :) We each made a few things and everything turned out so yummy.

Our friends were so kind with lots of compliments about the house and yard. Even though we've done a fair amount of improvements, I still feel sheepish about the condition of the house sometimes. But they made me feel better about it :)

After the meal, the kids played and played in the yard. The weather was great and they played with chickens, raced on the bike track, and made sand castles in the sandbox. We had a fun thanksgiving!
