Twilight Camp

Cruz had Twilight Camp a few weeks ago for Cub Scouts. Everything is new to me in with Scouting so I thought this camp happened with all Cub Scout groups. I guess most cub scouts go to day camp of some kind but over a day or two. This one is four days and it happens each evening hence the name "twilight camp".

I didn't get to stay (kid duty) but Cruz told me about it and the leaders sent out these pictures.

The last day was "Family Day" and included swimming at the local swim park. Since this camp includes all local cub scouts(not just our church) I was surprised at how many people were there! (In the commotion of keeping track of kids, I didn't take any pictures of the swimming)

They had a hot dog dinner after, but we decided to ditch the boiled dogs and go to Red Robin with friends we saw at family day. 

Not too much better than hotdogs, but the company was good! We are going to miss our friends the Redders, they are moving soon :(
