FHE success

90% of the time during family home evening as we are giving a lesson, the kids are bouncing off the walls. Finally, I feel like we had one good lesson. Both Kian and Cruz were listening- a miracle! And Dax well... maybe something sunk in as he wandered around the room.

The week prior as we read scriptures each night, we went over the story of the Jaredites. For those unfamiliar with the story, you can read it here. Then for the lesson on Monday, we reviewed what we learned earlier in the week and as an activity we asked the kids to build boats like the Jaredites with Legos.

Here are the boats.
