Halloween festivities started off with trunk or treat at the church. The boys were counting down the days so I was glad it finally came.
There was chili cook off and a costume contest at the pavilion. Decorations were really cute.
Here's our little mouse. The boys made out pretty good at the trunk or treat. There were so many kids there!
Next up was Cruz's class party on Friday. Sorry for the blurry pictures. My phone is terrible at pictures but it's all I had.
The made some cute mummy jars

After making a craft they had some fun playing games. This one was moving marshmallows from one paper towel to the other with vampire teeth in.
The video above is the other game. They had to dance to get golf balls out of their boxes.
Saturday kids went out to trick or treat. We were joined by Cruz's friend from school.
We went around our neighborhood. We hit only about ten houses and kids came home with bags almost full! No one trick or treats around us and we are acquainted with all neighbors whose houses we go to. As a result, kids got everything from goodie bags, cookies, popcorn, chips, to full size candy bars. At one house, they were even given a choice between 50 cents and a full size candy bar. All kids chose immediate pleasure of the candy bar! We have some sweet neighbors- they are so nice!
